Jay A. Jaworski
Jay is a licensed funeral director and has been with the funeral home since 1978. He lives in White Oak with his wife Kelli and his children Trevor and Peyton. Born and raised in McKeesport, he was a 1982 graduate of McKeesport High School, attended Penn State University McKeesport campus, was a 1986 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and has been a licensed funeral director since 1988. Jay became supervisor of the funeral home in 1991 after the passing of his father, Felix A. "Don" Jaworski. Jay is a lifetime member of Corpus Christi Parish in McKeesport, the Polish National Alliance Lodge#352 in McKeesport and the P.N.A. Bowling League. He is a member of the Allegheny County Funeral Director's Association, the Pennsylvania Funeral Director's Association and the National Funeral Director's Association.
Michael A. Mattis
Michael is a licensed funeral director with over 28 years experience in the funeral industry and has been with the funeral home since 1999. He lives in White Oak with his wife, Amy and sons, Michael, Ryan and Nicholas. Originally from West Mifflin, his childhood family home stood on the grounds of what is now Kennywood Park. A Serra Catholic High School graduate, he earned a Specialized Business Degree in Funeral Service Management from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and also holds a Pennsylvania Resident Individual Producer Life Insurance and Annuities License.
He is a member of Corpus Christi Parish in McKeesport, where he is the Ministries Coordinator and serves as a Lector, Altar Server, Eucharistic Minister and Liturgical Master of Ceremonies. He is the current President of the Finance Council, Chairman of the Environmental Committee , Chairman of the Parish Summer Festival, and member of the Fundraising, and Pastoral Advising committees. He also serves on the Diocese of Pittsburgh Pastorial Council.
Michael is a US Army Reserves Military Policeman Veteran, a member of the NFDA, PFDA, ACFDA, National Examining Board of Funeral Service Professionals, the American Embalmers Society, and has received numerous commendations including his efforts in the recovery and preparations of the victims of the US Air Flight # 427 crash.
