Fay LaRue Curran, 89, of Wauchula, passed away at Somers Hospice House in Sebring on Saturday, April 7, 2018. Born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on August 31, 1928 to Lewis A. and Elmira Saxon, she moved to Hardee County in 1989 from Pennsylvania and had been a winter resident for the previous nine years. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and had worked at Sears and Roebuck as an office clerk.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Curran in 1999, son, Mark Curran, and 4 brothers, Glenn, Gerald, Lloyd, and J. Wesley. Survivors include two sons, Kurt Curran of Wauchula and Kent Curran (wife Vicki) of Euless, Texas; one daughter, Ruth Howard (husband David) of Duquesne, Pennsylvania; daughter-in-law, Wendy Curran of Dravosburg, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Family and friends should gather at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on April 24, 2018 at 9:00 am for procession to Jefferson Memorial Park for Interment. Services at 10:00 am with Pastor Jody Dausey officiating
