Helen Bernice “Bea” Erkel Baird, 82 of North Huntingdon passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 .  Helen was the wife of William L. Baird whom she married on August 24, 1957, he passed away on September 7, 2013.  She was the daughter of Elmer P. and Catherine Naughton Erkel of McKeesport and was of the Lutheran faith.
She was a 1953 graduate of McKeesport High School.   She worked at People’s Union Bank in McKeesport as a bookkeeper and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 701 in White Oak.
Helen is survived by three sons; Scott of Youngstown, OH, Gary (Patti Torok) of North Versailles and Jeff (Kristin) of Bath, PA.  Two grandchildren Taylor and Dylan of Bath, PA.  One brother, Robert (Mary) Erkel of Port Vue and one sister Eileen (Conrad) McClymont of Pittsburgh.  Many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers, Elmer Jr., John and Tom.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.     
At Helen’s request services will be private.  Interment will be in the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com
