I was surprised to learn of the passing of Helmut. I met him when I went to work for GE in 2000. Over the 13 years I worked for GE he and I met many times and worked together a few times. I am sad to hear of his passing I am sure it will be a huge loss to his friends and family. Goodbye until we meet again.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Helmut's passing and I wish to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to his family. I had the pleasure of meeting Helmut while working at UPMC MRI years ago. Helmut was a true professional and an exceptional engineer. But even moreso, he was just a great person and I always enjoyed talking with him about his family and his hobbies. He will be missed by all that knew him.

I spent quite a bit of time with Helmut at the MR Research Center. He always had a smile or a good joke, a funny picture or story. He loved his children and his wife. He was an excellent wood worker. I still have the wood painted fruit he made me for my kitchen. He loved camping. He endured heartbreak with courage. A caring, gentle man who will be missed by many both personally and professionally.

My deepest sympathies MaryKay & family. I worked with Helmut for 14 years at GE Healthcare. Helmut and I would share camping stories and the times spent @ Cedar Point as we camped their every year with our two sons. Helmut loved to camp and share stories of his trips & activities along the way. I will miss those stories, but remember the great times as we shared the same passion and adventures. He'll be missed by many. God Bless.

I met Helmut many, many years ago when I started working at UPMC MRI. I have fond memories of him sharing photos from all of his vacations and talking about Cedar Point. I especially remember him sharing photos of the doll house he made for his daughter. Helmut was a very sweet man. He will be greatly missed in our MRI world. Rest in peace.

My deepest sympathies and prayers to Helmut's family. I met Helmut at UPMC MRI many years ago and I went to work for GE Healthcare after that. I had the pleasure of working with Helmut many times at many different MRI facilities. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met and he will be greatly missed. His expertise and knowledge in his job will never be matched. He was the best and the Pittsburgh area was lucky to have him. The MRI field will miss him greatly. Rest In Peace, Helmut....
