Stella Holtzman, age 93, of White Oak, died December 7th, 2017, at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg.  Born April 21, 1924, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Boleslaw “Benney” and Bronislava Kowalski and the wife of the late John Holtzman.

Stella was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and Christian Mothers of Corpus Christi Parish.  She was a homemaker.  Stella enjoyed polka music and took every opportunity to foster that appreciation in her family.  She never missed an activity that her grandchildren or great grandchildren took part in, because being with them was her life’s greatest joy.

Stella is survived by children, Rick & Sue of White Oak and Mick & Mike of White Oak; grandchildren, Chris, Megan, Casey and Zachary; 12 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by sisters, Florence Rodman, Barbara Kustra, Bernadine Wise and Helen Kulasa; brothers, Alfred and Henry Kowalski.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-8 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by Father Steven Palsa and Father John Gudewicz on Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Corpus Christi Parish, in McKeesport.  Interment will follow at St. Mary Polish Cemetery in White Oak.
