Thomas J. Moore

Thomas J. Moore, age 76, of Christy Park, died March 19, 2018, at home. Born December 2, 1941, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Leonard Clifford and Katherine (Holmes) Moore and the husband of the living Josephine "Cookie" (Munoz) Moore. Thomas was owner operator, of Thomas J. Moore Trucking and the C. Moore Haul trucking companies. He was a F&AM, Lodge # 731, with over 25 years as a 32 Degree Mason and he was also a Shriner. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers football and Nascar racing fan. Tom especially enjoyed traveling with his wife and his niece and nephew. He will always be remembered as being handy, Tom could fix anything from automobiles to home repairs. He could always be found out back in the garage working on projects or helping a friend with car troubles. In addition to his wife "Cookie," Thomas is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Quinn) Donovan of Santa Rosa, CA; sisters, Jean LaFever of White Oak and Emmaline Jones of Houston, TX; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by daughters, Tabatha and Tiffany Moore. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate. Burial will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
