Bertha M. Launonen

Bertha M. Launonen, age 107, of McKeesport, died  May 10, 2019, at Riverside Care Center. Born July 5, 1911, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anelia (Bober) Gibala; and the wife of her beloved second husband, the late Albert Launonen and first husband, Martin Kaminski.
 
She was a member of Confraternity of Christian Mothers & Ladies Guild and the McKeesport-Grandview AARP #2171.

She is survived by her grandchildren; great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her son, James D. Kaminski; sisters, Helen Nesteruk and Ann Morgan; and brothers, Henry Gibala, and Paul, Frank, Anthony, Walter, and Raymond "Sonny" Gibel.
 
Family and friends received Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the St. Mary Polish Cemetery, White Oak, PA.
