Carole McGinty

Carole McGinty, age 76, of McKeesport, died December 10, 2018, at home. Born December 23, 1941, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Stefania "Steffy" (Matwij) Tomko and the wife of the late Robert "Bubbles" McGinty. Carole dedicated her life to caring for her family. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, coloring and watching a good scary movie. Carole’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Louis Holtzman of McKeesport, Cynthia (Daniel) Galiyas of Glassport, Cheryl (Jonathan Harder) Holtzman of Glassport and Christine (Edward) Thomas of McKeesport; grandchildren, Jennifer (Neil) Simpson, William (Elise) Holtzman, Bryanne (Patrick) Weisen and Austin Holtzman; great grandchildren, Leo, Roselyn and Adelaide; many nieces and nephews; and her loyal pet dog, Sonny. In addition to her parents and husband, Carole was also preceded in death by a sister Eileen Hyduk. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
