Dolores A. Knox

Dolores A. Knox, age 89, of McKeesport, died September 5, 2019, at UPMC McKeesport. Born July 7, 1930, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Michael John and Mary Catherine (Feltz) Sivak and the wife of the late Walter K. Knox.
Dolores was a woman of family and faith. In her early years, she worked at the former Famous Department Store, of McKeesport. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church and the former Holy Trinity Church, where she was a Christian Mother, taught CCD, substituted classes when needed and was a resource person for many years. Dolores enjoyed dinners with her sister, bingo, crocheting, ceramics, cooking, and caring for her family.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Karen) Knox of North Huntingdon and Eric (Heather) Knox of White Oak; grandchildren, Adam, Nicole, Kenton and Hayden; siblings, Mary J. (Raymond) Jensen of Latrobe and Donald (Betty) Sivak of White Oak; also many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, September 8, 2019, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 10 a.m., at Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
