Ellen I Kyle

Ellen I. Kyle, age 93, of Munhall, died December 13, 2019, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born June 29, 1926, in West Mifflin, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Rhodes) Gilmore and the wife of the late John Kyle.
Ellen worked as a waitress and a cook for many restaurants throughout the area. She was also the past president of the Swissvale PTA and was also a member of the Swissvale Women's Auxillary Post 63.
Ellen is survived by her children, Marlene Gorscak of Munhall, John (Maureen Rossi) of White Oak and Sharon A. Kyle of Monmouth, ME; grandchildren A.J Gorscak, Elaine Gorscak, Andrea (Howard) Grobstein, George Kyle, J.D. (Brandi) Kyle and Tristan Corey Kyle; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and her loyal companion "Red" her poodle.
Ellen is preceded in death by her siblings, Marie, Peg, Josephine, Dorothy, Leona, Roberta, Robert, and Genie.
There will be no services for Ellen, and inurnment will take place at McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery at a later date. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.
