Francis J. Spinola, Jr.

Francis J. Spinola, Jr., age 80 of McKeesport, died March 16, 2019, at Jefferson Hospital. Born October 10, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Selena (Scanlon) Spinola, Sr., and the husband of Marie (Figas) Spinola for over 59 years. Fran retired from US Steel Clairton Works. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during peacetime. He enjoyed working puzzles, wood working and PA Lottery scratch tickets. Fran's greatest joy was spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Fran is also survived by Joseph (Elizabeth) of Elizabeth Twp., Edward (Margaret) of North Versailles, Francis (Caroline) of Ft. Washington, MD and Jennifer of McKeesport; grandchildren, Sarah (Tony) Fallica, Joseph, Shannon (Peter) Jarsulic, Heather, Brittany (Thomas) McGuffin, Edward II and Morgan; great grandchildren, Parker, Jacksyn, Lydia, Axl and Estelle; sister, Linda (Rodger) Modrak of Munhall; brother and sisters-in-law, Carol (Walter) Adams of Dravosburg, Catherine Whitney of North Huntington, Edward (Denise) Figas of Plum and Thelma Figas of McKeesport; also nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, March 18, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, 11 a.m. until the time of blessing service at 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
