Gizella "Ella" Helen Geci

Gizella "Ella" Helen Geci, age 100, died August 1, 2019, at Wexford Care Center. Born April 20, 1919, in Glassport, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Suzanne (Klamut) Czarnecki and wife of the late John Geci.
Ella was a loving family woman who trusted in her faith. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in McKeesport.
She is survived by her daughter, Patti (Steven) Vance of Allison Park; grandchildren, Catherine "Catie" Vance and John "Jake" Vance; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ella was also preceded in death by siblings, Helen Burda, Sr. Mary Grace Black, Clare McGivern, Emil John Black, Marie Klotz and Frank Czarnecki.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home and Crematory.
Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 5, 2019, 1 p.m., at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church of McKeesport, PA. Fr. Donald Voss will officiate.
Committal prayers and burial will follow in the New St. Joseph's Cemetery.
