Pete "Petey" Como, age 55, of Christy Park, died February 22, 2019, at home. Born May 3, 1963, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Luigi and Ida (Toppi) Como. Pete was Owner and Operator of P.J.'s Bar of McKeesport. He formerly worked as a welder for Vegely Welding of Duquesne. He was a member of the St. Patrick Church and the Palenese League of America. Pete's passion was music, in his early years he played lead guitar in the band Excalibur and as of late he played in the band Fall Risk. He is survived by his siblings, Assunta Tyskiewicz of McKeesport, Attorney Joseph P. (Janet Toner) Como of McKeesport and Antonietta (Walt) Wdowiak of Mars, PA, he will always be remembered as, "Our little brother with a giant heart!"; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Bob) Scherrer, Joe Tyskiewicz, Susan (Doug) Trabandt, Sean Wdowiak, Rachel (Nathan) Herring, Nathan Wdowiak and Jeremy Wdowiak; great nieces and nephews, Olivia, Max, Stella, Grace, Lewis, Molly, Maebel and Leo; aunt, Lena Caione of Glassport. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, February 26, from 2 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Patrick Parish. Committal will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
