Richard A. Perkins, Jr., age 78, of Greenock, died September 1, 2018, at home. Born August 21, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Richard A., Sr., and Elizabeth (Ochiva) Perkins Todaro and the husband of Dorothy (Furia) Perkins, for over 58 years. Richard retired from Ames, the formerly Murphy's Warehouse, where he was a forklift operator with 33 years of service. He was a member of the Boston Vets Club and Buena Vista Fire Hall. Richard enjoyed fishing, sports and he especially loved trips to the mountains. In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his children, Richard A. (Tammy Casey) Perkins of Greenock and Darrin J. (Teresa Demorest) Perkins of Ruffsdale; grandchildren, Amy (Adam), Melissa and Ryan; sister, Lynda Wiatrowski of Cannosburg; many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were entrusted Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
