Ronald Grebur Obituary

Ronald Peter Grebur Sr., 69 of White Oak, died unexpectedly on January 27, 2018 in Pembroke Pines, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Born August 10, 1948, in Pittsburgh, Pa, he was the son of the late Alex and Olga (Kucich) Grebur. Ron was semi-retired from Able Tool in Trafford, where he was a Machinist for 10 years. Prior to that he was a Machinist at National Carbide Die. He is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he bravely and proudly served his country from 1967-1971. He was a devoted member of the Church of God, a Worldwide Association. He devoted his life to caring for, and providing for his family. Ron loved spending the winters in Florida. Even though he was retired, he went back to work part time, because he couldn’t sit still. He was always doing something at home, his daughters house, his brother in laws house, or with anyone else that needed help. He loved nothing more than helping his family and others. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. His greatest joy was being surrounded by his family, whom he loved unconditionally. Ron is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 49 years, Brenda Grebur, a son, Ronald Jr. of Hollywood, Florida, daughter Melissa (John) Piontka of Herminie, 4 grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Nathan, and Gionna, and 2 great-grandchildren, a brother Alex (Nancy) Grebur of Herminie, 4 brothers-in-law that were like sons, Tim Merlin of Boardman, OH, Jeff Merlin of North Huntingdon, Terry Merlin of Miramar, Florida, and Scott Merlin of North Huntingdon. Ron is also survived by nieces and nephews and his loyal pet dogs, Sebastian and Louis. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 7-9. Thursday,  February 1, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday February 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Don Henson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Church of God, a Worldwide Association, Inc., PO Box 1009 Allen, Texas 75013-0017.
