Vance W. "Bud" McCombs, Jr.

Vance W. "Bud" McCombs, Jr., age 76, of McKeesport, died September 18, 2018. Born September 14, 1942 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Vance W. and Cecelia (McClelland) McCombs, Sr. and the husband of the late Elizabeth (Schultz) McCombs. He was a retired electrician with 22 years of service for Fisher Body and 19 years of service for National Tube. Bud served in the US Marine Corps, during peacetime. He was a member of the American Legion Post #701, and the 11th Ward Club. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, bowling and Pittsburgh sports. Bud is survived by sons Roy A. of Columbia, TN, Michael T. (Nanci) of Pittsburgh, and Vance "Beau" (Francie) of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Melissa, Brittany, Roy, Hope, Collin, Andrew, Cole, Mikayla, Jeremy, and Madison; great grandsons, Braden and Roy; sister, Myrna (Glenn) Kelly; also survived by nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Andrea Chojnacki and Jane Cieslewicz. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday  from 2-4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate. Inurnment will be in Jefferson Memorial  Park Cemetery at a later date.
