William Miller Obituary

William S. Miller, age 93, of McKeesport, died October 8, 2019, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born August 28, 1926, he was the son of the late Thomas and Edna (Davis) Miller and the husband of late Ruth M. (Schaffer) Miller. William was a crane operator for US Steel National Tube Works, worked for Firth Sterling as a machinist and shipper and Westinghouse as a clerk, and Security Guard for 17 years before retiring. William was a US Army veteran, serving during WWII. He was a member of the Highland Grove United Methodist Church. William is survived by his sons, William J. Miller of MD, Robin T. (Joanne) Miller of NV, Randy C. (Dianne) Miller of Export; sister, Shirley Henderson of FL; Grandchildren: Brandy, Thomas, Alan, April, Jennifer, Kevin, and Angela; Great-grandchildren: Nico, SkyLee, Lilliana, Jacob, Ellie, Jillian, Jocelyn, Kaitlyn, Madison, and Josie. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas, Edward, and Erving "Huddy" Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
