Audrey B Serena

Audrey B. Serena, age 91, of Liberty Borough, died August 10, 2020, at ManorCare Health Services - Peters Township. Born December 22, 1928, in McKeesport, she was the only child of the late Anthony and Mary (Brletic) Bisesi and the wife of the late Albert M. Serena for over 67 years.
Audrey was a retired secretary.  Over the years, she held many positions, including WEDO Radio, the city of McKeesport,  The Law Offices of Banes and McGowan, and US Steel in McKeesport and Duquesne. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1946 and served on many of the reunion committees. Audrey was a member of St. Mark Parish and attended St. Eugene Church of Liberty Borough. She enjoyed dining out with her friends at the Carriage Inn of Elizabeth. Her greatest joy was receiving visits from her grandchildren and supporting their activities. Whether it was a theatre production or a sports event, Audrey was always in attendance. In her later years, her joy came from seeing her great-grandchildren grow.
She is survived by her son, Alan (Susan) Serena of Liberty Borough; grandsons, Michael (Devon) of South Park, Adam of Jeannette, and Albert (Heidi) of Baldwin; great-grandchildren, Emma, Joshua, and Julian.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, August 13, 2020, from 2 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 10 a.m., at St. Eugene Church of Liberty Borough. Committal prayers and burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
