Barbara A. (Polanowski) Balint

Barbara A. Balint, age 81, of McKeesport, died September 8, 2022, at home. Born May 14, 1941, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica (Waldo) Polanowski and the wife of the late Raymond A. Balint for 58 years.
Barbara worked at Bell Telephone Company as a keypunch operator until she started her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church. She enjoyed attending bingo, although her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Barbara is survived by her children, Leslie Jo (Curt) Filson of Charlotte, NC, and Carla Forsythe of Greenock; grandchildren, Natalee (Zack) Bright of Elizabeth, Nathan Forsythe, Austin and Dylan Filson.
In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was also preceded in death by her siblings, Bill Polanowski, Lillian Mangan, and Jean Bubash; son-in-law, Richard Forsythe.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 10 a.m. to Noon. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. in St. Angela Merici Church. 
Committal prayers and burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery of West Mifflin.
