Betty Pozzuto

Betty Pozzuto, age 89, of McKeesport, died May 9, 2023, at UPMC McKeesport. Born April 2, 1934, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Peg Robinson and the wife of the late Robert "Bob" Pozzuto. 
Betty retired as a supervisor in watch repair for JcPennys. Raising her family was her greatest accomplishment; Betty loved being fully involved in their lives and volunteered with the McKeesport Little Tigers football, wrestling, jr. achievements, the majorette drill team, and little league baseball. She loved playing cards and going out with her "golden girls," Virginia Judy and Joan Tate 
Betty is survived by her 3 sons, Robert S. Pozzuto of Hempfield, PA, Thomas W.(Anna) Pozzuto of McKeesport, PA, George E.(Luann) Pozzuto of Lakeland, Fl; 2 daughters, Sharon (Michael) Kalman of Farragut, TN, and  Lori ( Daniel) Wertz of  McLean, VA; grandchildren; Michael, Eric, Giuliana, Dustin, Amanda, Natalie, Nicole, Noelle, Angela, Dane, Melissa, Yendry, and Gerardo, 19 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Helen Picone, many nieces, and nephews. 
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Gorton.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, at Mary Mother Of God Parish, St. Patrick Church, 310 32nd St
McKeesport, PA 15132 on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:00 am. Committal prayers will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery.
