Brian Downes Obituary

Brian K. Downes, age 48, of Trafford, died January 14, 2022, at home. Born August 25, 1973, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John G. "Jack" and Cecelia "Dolly" (Onufer) Downes.
Brian was currently working for TAKTL, LLC Company. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Brian loved the Steelers, Penguins, and playing any sport he could. He also shot a lot of pool! Brian Graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Industrial Hygiene and applied that learning to all the jobs he was in aiming to keep people as safe as possible.
Brian is survived by his siblings, Coleen (Marty) Collins of New York City, Jack Downes of White Oak PA, Geralyn "Gigi" Downes-Wander of Port Charlotte FL, and Patricia (Alan) Nemeth of Palm Beach Gardens FL.; niece and nephews, Nicole Smith, Daniel Smith, Thadeus Wander, and Hal Wander.
In addition to his parents, Brian was also preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Downes.
Private family arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
Inurnment will be in All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
