Charolene L (Heath) Metzler

Charolene L. Metzler, age 92, of Lewis Center, OH, formerly of McKeesport, PA, died October 9, 2020, at Capri Gardens in Lewis Center, OH.  Born April 3, 1928, in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Frederick and Martha (Sloane) Heath, and the wife of the late Robert William Metzler.  Charolene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Glassport, PA, for 60 years and served as a Deaconess.  She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her great-grandchildren.  She is survived by a son, Alan (Bonnie) Metzler; grandchildren, Marilu Metzler, Anna Marie Berkey, and Sergio (Milka) Metzler; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Connor, Julian, Adri, Keysha, Mari, Alex, and Ella.  She was preceded in death by son, Ronald Metzler; daughter, Marna Metzler; siblings, Ruth, Gertrude, Martha, Howard, and Mervyn.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.   Burial will follow at McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to The Church of Jesus Christ Native Work.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com  Chris Odasso, Owner.
