Daniel Wynn Obituary

Daniel G. Wynn, 93, died Friday, January 7, 2022, at Jefferson Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, in Jefferson Hills, PA. Born November 30, 1928, in McKeesport, PA, he was the son of the late Homer E. and Elizabeth Marie (McCartney) Wynn.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Barchie of Mt Juliet, TN, and over 23 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Edith Esther (Cipriani) Wynn, brothers John (Jack) G. Wynn of Hilton Head, SC, Francis Xavier Wynn of Pahrump, NV, James Miller Wynn of White Oak, PA and Charles Richard Wynn of West Hills, CA. He was a retired teacher from the Diocese of Pittsburgh Schools, held an extensive knowledge of American history, and was an avid reader.
There will be no visitation, and services are private. Interment will be in Fort Palmer Cemetery of Ligonier/Bolivar, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Duquesne University of Pittsburgh, PA.
