Devin Ray Flaherty

Devin Ray Flaherty, age 35, died at home on April 26, 2023.  Born June 25, 1987, in McKeesport, PA, he was the son of David Paul (Valarie) Yednak and Tina (Jason) Flaherty DeNunzio.
He grew up in the Fawcett plan of McKeesport and White Oak.  He attended St Angela of Merici Catholic School and McKeesport Area High School.  Devin was living in Mingo Junction, OH, with the love of his life, Brandi Leigh Murphy, and since February 2015, the couple have been inseparable.  Devin loved his dog Piper and his family.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, kayaking, off-road dirtbike riding, and working on small projects.  Devin enjoyed landscaping and plumbing and had a sense of humor, always trying to bring a smile to the face of the people around him.  He was also a handyman and was always tinkering. 
In addition to his parents, Devin is survived by his fiancé, Brandi Leigh Murphy; daughter, Kyra Thornton; grandmother, Garnett Flaherty; siblings, Ashton Flaherty, Taryn (Greg) Seman, David Paul Yednak, Jr., Jonathan Barbera,  Kalynn Barbera, Jesse Yednak, Christian Barbera, Breann Barbera, Jason DeNunzio, Jr., Brittyn DeNunzio and Melissa (Joseph) Wilcox, and many nieces and nephews.
Devin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Peter and Brenda Yednak; maternal grandfather, John Flaherty; aunt, Lisa Dudgeon.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox- Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory for a memorial gathering on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel.  Inurnment will follow at Mt.
