Don D. "Ho" Szymarek

Don D. "Ho" Szymarek, age 57, of McKeesport, died January 10, 2021, at home. Born May 21, 1963, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Donald Szymarek and Eileen (Boullion) Szymarek.
Don worked for the former Cornelius Architectural Products Inc., where he was an installer. Don was a 1981 graduate of McKeesport High School. He attended Corpus Christi Church of McKeesport, where his mother is a member. Don enjoyed sports, played football in high school and rugby after that. His daughter and grandchildren were the light of his life.
In addition to his mother, Don is survived by his daughter Lynsey (Todd Thomas) Szymarek of McKeesport; grandchildren, Aubrielle and Tate Thomas; sister, Shari (Scott) Smith of White Oak; niece, Kristen Smith; nephew, Justin Smith; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, January 16, 2021, from 1 p.m. until the time of blessing service at 5 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Inurnment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery at a later date.
