Edith Marie Kampert

Edith Marie Kampert, age 86, of McKeesport, died March 22, 2018, at UPMC McKeesport. Born January 11, 1932, in White Oak, she was the daughter of the late Walter B. and Edith (Chapman) Pickell and the wife of the late Joseph Kampert. Edith dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church. Edith is survived by her sons, Theodore and Robert Kampert of McKeesport; sister, Carolyn Leitzell of White Oak; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was preceded in death by her daughter Laina. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral & Crematory on Monday, March 26, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Father Steven M. Palsa will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Duquesne, PA.
