Ellen Clare (Quinn) Miller

Ellen Clare (Quinn) Miller, formerly a long-time resident of Dravosburg, passed away Saturday morning, January 29, 2022, at St. Anne Home, Greensburg. Born May 8, 1937, in Pittsburgh and raised in McKeesport and White Oak, she was the daughter of the late William and Ellen (Foley) Quinn.
Clare was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and a member of First Evangelical Free Church, McKeesport. She lived for her family, as was evident by the myriad of photos of grandchildren and great-grandchildren on her refrigerator and throughout her home. An avid reader, one-time Dravosburg Women’s Club President, and active in church activities, including service trips supporting missionaries. A thrill-seeker who loved a good coaster ride. She retired at the age of 68 from US Bank.
Clare is survived by her children Gary Miller, Barbara Ann (Michael) Anderson, Sharon Tardio, Jeffrey Miller, and Marc (Jennifer) Miller; grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Sara (Bill) Hefner, AJ (Courtney) Tardio, Christopher Tardio, Elliot (fiancée Michelle Montana) Miller, Isaac Miller, Lydia Miller, Owen Miller, Hannah Anderson, and Nathanael Anderson; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her former husband Bradford (Bucky) Miller; her daughter-in-law Pamela (Butts) Miller; and her son-in-law Anthony Tardio and her siblings, Billy, Kathleen, Jane, and Peggy.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
Consistent with her wishes, there will be no gathering or viewing at the funeral home.  
A funeral service and celebration of life luncheon will be held at McKeesport First Evangelical Free Church on a later date.  
She will be laid to rest at New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
