George Bryant Obituary

George G. Bryant, age 76, of McKeesport, formerly of Patterson, NJ, died January 25, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport. Born December 21, 1945, in Council, NC, he was the son of the late George and Madalee (Andrews) Bryant and husband of Susan Gonzales.
George was a chef for over 40 years at the former Sheraton Hotel's Restaurant in McKeesport, and Houlihan's, where everyone knew him as "Big Daddy." He enjoyed fishing trips with his son Demitri to Twin Lakes, Lake Erie, and especially Keystone Lake. George loved going to the flea market and cooking and grilling with his son. He also had a love for exotic animals such as snakes, iguanas, and piranhas. Taking family trips to New York and North Carolina to see family were always special to him 
In addition to his wife, Susan, he is also survived by his children, Demitri Gonzales and Kimberly Bryant; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Ed, Louise, Dosha, and Alfred; and cousin, Jr.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, Vaniece, Lonice, and Curtis. 
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m.
