November 27, 1924 ~ September 11, 2023 (age 98) 98 Years Old
Be the first to offer your condolences on Helene's Tribute Wall
Helene Yedinak, age 98, was called to rest on September 11, 2023, at St Barnabas, Arbors of Gibsonia. Born November 27, 1924, in Offenbach, Germany, she is the daughter of the late Hieronymus and Barbara Müller and the wife of the late James Yedinak.
Helene lived and worked in Germany until she met the love of her life, James, following WWII. They married and made their lives together in McKeesport, PA. She was a friend to all, always ready to help anyone in need, a fabulous cook and baker, loved all things in nature, and most of all loved her family. Helene was the best card and Scrabble player! She was fiercely independent, strong-willed, and confident in her convictions.
She is survived by her children, James Yedinak and Bridget (James) Rouser; grandchildren, Samantha and Josh Rouser, Erik and Steven Yedinak; great-grandchildren, Tristian Stadterman, Katerina Pearson, Miranda and Layne Yedinak.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helene was preceded in death by her son, Michael Yedinak, daughters-in-law, Claudia and Patricia Yedinak, siblings, Herman and Margot Müller.
Our lives will not be the same without her. She has left an indelible mark on us all, and her spirit and love will go with us for the rest of our lives.
Memorial contributions can be sent to an organization that is close to your heart in memory of Helene.
