Ila B. "Jackie" Filotei

Ila B. "Jackie" Filotei, age 86, of McKeesport, died December 18, 2018, at UPMC McKeesport. Born February 15, 1932, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Clarabelle (Knapton) Hunter and the wife of Frank A. Filotei, Sr., for over 65 years. Jackie dedicated her life to caring for her family. She enjoyed puzzles, singing, television crime stories and flea markets, although her greatest joy was simply her family. In addition to her husband, Jackie is survived by her children, Kathleen Dawn (Douglas) Filotei Olson of Riverside, CA and Frank A. Filotei, Jr. of Christy Park; grandchildren, Emilee Olson and Nicholas Filotei; siblings, Peggy Vennebush of Elizabeth and Skip (Joy) Hunter of Little Boston of McKeesport; also many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Flo Crooks, Dolores Tucker, Calvin Hunter and Russell Hunter..
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, December 21, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.until the time of the Sister's of Charity service at 8:30 p.m., Sister Mary Ann Winters, S.C., will officiate. Family reflection and prayers will be shared Saturday, 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Jackie's grandson, Nicholas Filotei, will officiate.
