James Danielson Obituary

James N. Danielson, age 78, of White Oak, died January 12, 2019, at home. Born June 20, 1940, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Raymond and Esther (Stoops) Danielson and the husband of Alberta (Nelson) Danielson for over 33 years. Jim retired from the Appliance Service Center, where he was a service technician with over 20 years of service, prior to that he worked for Kelly and Cohen Appliances. He was a US Army veteran, serving during peacetime and a member of the White Oak American legion Post # 701. Jim was a member of the Beulah Park United Methodist Church. He enjoyed dining out, shopping and visits to Home Depot. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and tending to his home. Jim could fix or build anything, if you needed a hand he was always right there to help. He was also a pet lover, his dogs Plexi and Gretel will greatly miss him. In addition to his wife Alberta, Jim is survived by his children, Susan Kulsic of South Park, David (Vicki) Danielson of Baldwin Twp., Richard (Sue) Danielson of Bethel Park and Alyssa (Jay) Danielson-Holland of Sedalia, CO; grandchildren, Rachel Frohman, Steven (Tael'r Eason), Christina, Candice, Alexa and James Holland; brother, Terence (Nina Jean) Danielson of Leads, UT; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Dennis) McCarthy and Amy Loeffler all of North Huntingdon; many nieces and nephews; dear friends and neighbors, Andy (Nancy) Mauro of White Oak. Jim was also preceded in death by his first wife, Doris (Ayres) Danielson and a brother, Raymond Danielson. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. a funeral service will be on Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Pastor William Meekins, Jr., will officiate. Burial will follow in Jefferson memorial Park.
