Janet V. Wiggins

Janet V. Wiggins, age 80, of McKeesport, died December 30, 2022, at St. Clair Hospital of Pittsburgh. Born August 28, 1942, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Razny) Tonkovic and the wife of the late James Wiggins. 
Janet retired from the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council, where she was a coordinator. Before that, she worked as an executive assistant at the University of Pittsburgh. Janet was very social and loved people. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and caring for her cats.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Karen) Warren of Perrysburg, OH, Sandra (Norman) Peer of Robinson, and Stephen Warren of McKeesport; grandchildren, Alexander, Tessa, Douglas, Deanna (Benjamin) Zeh, and Jack; great-grandson, Fergus.
In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Tonkovic.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
