Joseph C. Winter

Joseph C. Winter, age 61, of North Versailles, died December 31, 2017, at home. Born August 4, 1956, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Eleanor (Kundman) Winter. Joseph retired from Metal Tech Industries, in Pittsburgh, where he was a crane operator. He was an avid hockey fan and he loved watching the Pittsburgh Penguin's play. Joe loved giving his family members the "one up" or "two down." He was always there to lend a hand. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Joseph is survived by his son, Ryan (Tanya) Winter of North Versailles; grandchildren, Kristina, Alaina, Alexis and Travis; sisters, Joette Jackson of McKeesport, Gloria (Richard) Barnes of McKeesport and Karen Kemper of White Oak. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Alan Kemper. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 1 p.m. until the time of Blessing Service at 3 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
