June A. Hayden

June A. Hayden, age 91, of Dravosburg, died December 9, 2019, at Locust Grove Personal Care of West Mifflin. Born June 7, 1928, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Oscar E. and Olga C. (Larson) Anderson and the wife of the late Howard R. "Ray" Hayden.
June was a retired private duty registered nurse from the McKeesport area. She also worked in the emergency room of Westmoreland Hospital. She attended the Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing. In her later years worked side by side with her husband and father at Anderson & Hayden grocery store and with her husband, son, and daughter at Freddy's Restaurant. She was a member of the Amity Presbyterian Church of Dravosburg. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
June is survived by her children, David Hayden of Dravosburg, Howard (Cathy) Hayden of West Mifflin, and Susan (George) Gavlik of Wexford; grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Kayla (James) Fleming, Lauren, Alex, and Justin; niece, Lyn Musser of West Mifflin; nephew, Wade Deal of Wilmerding; great-nephew, Brandon Musser. In addition to her husband and parents, June was also preceded in death by her sister, Janet C. Deal.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, December 13, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until last leave at 9:15 a.m. A funeral service will follow, at 10 a.m., in the Amity Presbyterian Church. Pastor Gary Molinaro will officiate. Burial will follow in Richland Cemetery of Dravosburg.
