Katherine R. McLaughlin

Katherine R. McLaughlin, age 57, of White Oak, died January 30, 2019, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born August 25, 1961, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mildred (Boles) Dalton and the wife of the late Kevin J. McLaughlin. For the past two decades, Katherine worked at Auberle of McKeesport, where she was the Administrative Assistant in the Behavioral Health department. She was a dedicated, caring and hardworking person, who truly loved her work and enjoyed any opportunity to interact with the kids at Auberle. She embraced change and always put others ahead of herself. Katherine's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived  by her granddchildren, Jersie,Shane, Kellan, Teagan, Rogan and Troy; sister, Donna LaVerne Pennington of McKeesport; nephews, Bobby and David; niece, Tammy; great-niece, Chrissy; and her extended family of friends and co-workers at Auberle.  In addition to her parents and husband, Katherine was also preceded in death by her daughters,  Annalisa McLaughlin and Jennifer Gallagher; grandson, Jacob Walker. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, February 4, 2019, from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Boniface Igba will officiate. Inurnment will be in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to Auberle, 1101 Hartman St., McKeesport, PA 15132.
