Obituary

Kenneth D. Carper, age 68, of Coulters, died peacefully on July 8, 2023, at Monroeville Rehab and Wellness Center, surrounded by his family. Born December 7, 1954, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Walter L. and Atna E.(Koontz) Carper.
Ken dedicated 38 years to managing the Kmart Store in North Versailles. After his retirement, he loved yard sales, thrifting, doing word search puzzles, and diamond dotting.
Ken is survived by his siblings, Shir (Joe) Horn, Terry (Cookie) Carper, Gary (Sue) Carper, Jim Carper, Atna (the late Marty) Findura, Colin "Crash" (Kelly) Carper and Wayne Carper, all of Coulters, PA, Dorie (Bob) Reese of LakeWorth, FL, Dee Pastor of Andover, OH, Dennis (Cyndi) Carper of Green Cove Springs, FL, and Norman (Barb) Carper of Monessen, PA; 19 nieces and nephews; 41 great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
As per Ken's wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held.
Memorial contributions are suggested to South Versailles Township Honor Roll, in care of Veterans Honor Roll Restoration Committee, P.O. Box 87, 503 Tourman St. Coulters PA, 15028.
