Kerry L. Cornell

Kerry L. Cornell, age 58, of McKeesport, died February 8, 2020, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born January 10, 1962, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Diane (Humphries) Gessner and the wife of James Cornell.
Kerry worked as a nurses assistant at UPMC McKeesport hospital and was also a bartender at the Old Derby Lounge. She enjoyed spending time at the Croatian Club of Versailles Borough and Mama Pepinos Pizza with friends and taking care of her pets.
Along with her husband James, Kerry is survived by her children, David Hornfeck of South Carolina and Christina Hornfeck of South Park; brother, Edward "Eddie" Gessner of Greensburg; as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and all of her loving pets.
She is preceded in death by her parents and also her brother Brian Gessner.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 2 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
