Marlene J. Gorscak

Marlene Joyce Gorscak, age 76, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.  Born April 9, 1946, in Braddock, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Ellen (Gilmore) Kyle.  Beloved wife of the late Andrew Gorscak; mother of Andrea (Howard) Grobstein of North Huntingdon, PA, Andrew J. Gorscak of Elizabeth, PA, and Elaine J. Gorscak of Pittsburgh, PA; loving grandmother of Andrea (Howard) Grobstein’s children, Alexander Isaac and Elizabeth Hannah, Andrew J. Gorscak’s children, Paige Lynn and Sydney Marie, Elaine J. Gorscak’s children, Amber Lynn and Kaylee Marie; loving great-grandmother to Amber Gorscak’s children Karley Mae Gorscak, Justyn Tomas Barefoot and Lucas Alan Barefoot; sister, Sharon A. Kyle of Monmouth, Maine.  She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.  Marlene was also preceded in death by her brother, John D. Kyle, Jr.  Marlene will be remembered for her fabulous smile, her sense of humor, her ability to see the best in everyone she met as well as her love for her dogs Sassy, Sasha and Red.  Services will be private.  Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in support of Lung Cancer and Head/Neck Cancer research.  Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.  Chris Odasso, Supervisor
