Mary A. Bezick

Mary A. Bezick, age 92, of North Huntingdon, died July 11, 2018, at St. Anne's Nursing Home of Greensburg. Born November 25, 1925, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Stefan J. and Victoria (Stepansky) Rybar and the wife of the late Joseph E. Bezick, Sr. Mary was retired from Gimbels Department Store, where she worked as a salesperson. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church, Vice-President of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild / Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court # 221 and she was former president of McKeesport Area High School Football Boosters. Mary is survived by her children, Joseph E. Bezick, Jr. of North Huntingdon, Timothy (Catherine) Bezick of Reno, NV and Christine (Dr. Kurt) Kaufman of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Hannah (Conor), Tim (Beth), Steve (AnnaMarie) and Kevin; great grandchildren, Vivian, Abe and Eleanor. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, John, Ray, Steve, Ted, Barbara Dansak and Josephine Galla. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, August 13, 2018, from 10:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m.. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, 12:00 p.m.. Fr. Steven M. Palsa will be the celebrant. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary Polish Cemetery.
