Mary Wetklow Obituary

Mary Anne Wetklow, age 77, of Glassport, died July 1, 2022, at home with her family by her side. Born October 11, 1944, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Dominic P. "Mim" Margliotti and Rosemary (Kolachek) Spiewak and the life partner of Gene "Shel" Rossey.
 Mary Anne was retired from Crofton Elementary School, MD, where she was the principal's secretary. She was very passionate about her work and loved caring for the children. Mary Anne graduated from McKeesport High School Class of 1962. She was very artistic and shared her abilities in her sketches and drawings. She was also an animal lover, leaving behind her beloved dogs, Kaya, Bruiser, and her cat, June Bug. Mary Anne will always be remembered for her humor and being the life of the party!
 She is survived by her children, Ashley Wetklow and Dave Szanca; grandchildren, Madison, Amanda, and David, Jr.; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy Safos, Bernie Spiewak, and Angela Bollenburg; also nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
 In addition to her parents, Mary Anne was also preceded in death by her second husband, David Wetklow; adopted father, John Spiewak; brothers, Tommy and Larry Spiewak; and 2 grandchildren.
 Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
 A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
