Michael T. Sollosi

Michael T. Sollosi, age 90, of McKeesport, died March 17, 2023, at UPMC McKeesport. Born April 17, 1932, in Elrama, he was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Mestar) Szollosi and the husband of the late Gloria  Sollosi for 66 years. Mike retired from the maintenance department at Fisher Body. He was a Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church member. Mike served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was also a member of the VFW of Clairton and the American Legion of Glassport. Mike was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, loved swimming and his favorite pastime was scratching Pennsylvania Lottery tickets. He is survived by children, Michael F. (Kim) Sollosi of North Versailles, Pam (Chaz) Mullins of White Oak, Mary Sollosi of McKeesport, and Cindy Sollosi of McKeesport; grandchildren, Angela (Corey) Holsing, Greg (Ashley) Sollosi, James "JD" Ross, Zach (Kennedy) Mullins, Nicole Adams, and Eric Roboch; great-grandchildren, Tessa, Zoey, Lilee, Reagan, Benji, and Odan; brother, Thomas, Jr. of New Eagle and Steve of Elrama. In addition to his wife and parents, Mike was preceded in death by siblings Julie Mellor, Johnny Sollosi, and Margaret Douglas.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from noon until the time of the blessing service at 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers and inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Port Vue.
