Nancy Louise Hurley

Nancy Louise Hurley, age 83, of McKeesport, died February 4, 2019. Born May 12, 1935, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary Virginia (Satterfield) Dudley and the wife of John Thomas "Tom" Hurley. Nancy worked at First National Bank in McKeesport and retired from Bettis-Bechtol Atomic Power Laboratory. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School and attended classes at Robert Morris College. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, AARP No. 2294 of White Oak, American Legion Post 701 Auxiliary of White Oak, Renzie Seniors, AARP No. 2911 of Versailles, Order of the Eastern Star Corinth 229, Ladies Syria Caravan No. 4, Syria Shrine Hillbilly Clan #53, Westinghouse Sure, McKeesport High School Alumni & Friends Association, Luncheon Club with Retirees of Bettis-Bechtol, Red Hats and Grand Cross of Color. Nancy was past advisor to the Y-Teens at McKeesport High School, past Mother advisor of Elizabeth Rainbow Assembly, twice president of Ladies Syria Caravan No. 4, board member of White Oak AARP and Trustee for Wesley United Methodist Church. Nancy's greatest joy was spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Daniel Edgar (Debbie) Hurley of McKeesport, and Thomas John (Janice) Hurley of White Oak; grandchildren, Nicole Hurley, Angela (Richard) Verbanick, Scott (Jacqueline) Hurley, Christopher Hurley, Heather Hurley, Thomas J Hurley, and Katie Hurley; great grandchildren, Jacob Christopher, Lucas John, Sloane Louise, and Emma Katherine; daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Hurley Danko. She was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Edwin Hurley. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, February 8, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 10 a.m., at Wesley United Methodist Church.
