Nancy L. Ware

Nancy L. Ware, age 89, of McKeesport, died January 14, 2020, at home. Born October 15, 1930, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Laura (Heintz) Hammerstrom and the wife of the late Benjamin F. Ware.
Nancy retired from Auberle Home of McKeesport, where she was the cafeteria manager. After retirement, she worked at the former Moon Dogs of McKeesport as a cook and volunteered as a cook at St. Angela Merici Church and Serra Catholic High School. She was a member of the Mary, Mother of God Parish. Nancy was always there for her family. Her greatest joy was caring for all of them.
Nancy is survived by her children, Paula (Bob) Mamula of Spotsylvania, VA, Benjamin F. Ware, II, of McKeesport, Martin (Susan) Ware of North Huntingdon, Tressie (Anton) Leppo of McKeesport, and David Smith, which she considered her son; grandchildren, Tony, Steven, and Jay Leppo, Benjamin III, Catherine, and Richard Ware, Timothy (Jessica) Mamula, and Christopher (Ashley) Mamula, Carly (Jake) Komarinski, and Amy (Justin) Noel; great-grandchildren, Mark-Christopher Ware Mamula, David (Brittany Strangis), Adrianna, Alexis, Aniyah, Adarion, Adrian, Audrianna, Lucas, Emma, Aubree, Knox, Asher, Pheonix, Kyler and Stone; sister, Joanne Navarolli of Biddle, PA; also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was also preceded in death by her son, John Ware; brothers, Jerry, Paul, and John Hammerstrom.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, January 20, 2020, from 2 p.m. until the time of blessing service at 5 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
Inurnment will be Wednesday, at 10 a.m. in the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.
