William R. Franklin

William R. Franklin, age 58, of McKeesport, died June 2, 2019, at UPMC McKeesport. Born July 31, 1960, he was the son of the late Richard and Lois (Mackey) Franklin.
William loved watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, sitting on his deck, swimming in his pool, watching fireworks and attending concerts in Renzie Park. When he wanted to get away, William would drive up to the mountains and surround himself with nature. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for his friends and family.
William is survived by his soul mate, Janet of McKeesport; brother, David of Kingsland, GA; aunt, Elma of McKeesport; cousin, Teri of McKeesport; nieces, Nicole of FL, Emily of South Side, and Erica of McKeesport. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Robert.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 3 p.m. until the memorial service at 5 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
