My uncle Eddie was more than a sports hero. My uncle Eddie was a great man fantastic father and special husband. Many times honored by various sport organizations thru out the area. I van vividly remember him visiting our family home during the Christmas season you mention the name Eddie Stanford to any sports fan in the area and they would say wow Raymie is Eddie your uncle. When mc keesport had the great informative daily newspaper Eddie would often write letters to the editor also he had his picture taken with the all time great king and his court Eddie finer. Aunt pearl loved him and their manage sustained for many many years. Eddie jr was my great cousin along with his sister my cousin sweet Jo Anne. Uncle Eddie will undoubtedly leave a special mark to any and all who respected and loved the man Eddie stanko. Love from Raymie jr
