Eleanore Mary (Nyegre) Manns, age 88 of White Oak, died November 10, 2015 at Briarcliff Pavilion.  Born August 2, 1927 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Gyuricza) Nyegre.  Graduated from McKeesport High School in 1945, and from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 1949.  Worked for 15 years for Ayers Drug Store and 2 weeks later, started working for her college friend, Knute Manns at Manns Drug Store in White Oak.  She married her dearest friend, Knute Manns on Thanksgiving Day 1970 and did not retire until he passed in January 2006.  She loved her work in the pharmacy, loved her customers, “they were so good to me”.  She is survived by her stepson, David Manns and his fiancé Beverlee Barna; grandchildren, Brandon Manns and his wife Jessica and Nikki Price and her husband Terry; 3 great-grandsons, Jonathan Manns, Jackson Manns, and Andrew Price (they were the light of her life);her twin brother Robert Nye of Hemet, CA and daughter-in-law Carol Ann Manns.  Family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 12th at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday, November 13th from 10 a.m. until the time the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Rev. Scott E. Dennis will officiate.  Burial will follow at McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery.
