Lois J. Jackson, age 76 of McKeesport, died on March 12, 2017 at home. Born on December 13, 1940 in Bentleyville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Louise (Cweirz) Sabo and the wife of the late William D. Jackson, Sr. Lois was a member of the Renzie Seniors, an avid reader and an animal lover who especially loved her cats, Paddington and Smitty. Lois is survived by her children, Cathy J. Jackson of West Homestead, William D. (Mary) Jackson, Jr. of North Attleboro, MA, Todd A. (Beth) Jackson of York, SC, and Kerri A. (Brian Byrd) Jackson of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Brandi, Nikki (Danny), Alexandra, David, Jessica, Sarah (Wes), Danny (McKenzie), Olivia, Charlie and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Brandon, Taylor, and Ally; siblings, Betty Miller of Downey, CA, Carl Sabo of Chillicothe, OH and John Sabo of Irwin; brother-in-law Carl Aston of Wilmerding; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lois is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Julia Jackson; and her sister, Dolores Aston. Family and friends will be received at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 1 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Private interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
